Which Yamaha models does the MadJax King XD 4" lift kit fit?
The MadJax King XD 4" lift kit (#16-061) fits 2007–2016 Yamaha G29/Drive and 2017-up Yamaha Drive2 models with a solid/fixed rear axle. Models with independent rear suspension require kit #16-062 instead, sold separately.
What wheel and tire sizes can I use?
The kit requires wheels at least 10 inches in diameter. Recommended tire sizes range from 20 to 22 inches in overall diameter, with clearance for tires up to 22 inches tall.
Does installation require drilling, and are instructions included?
No drilling is required thanks to the bolt-on design. The lower main frame comes pre-assembled and pre-greased, and a bottle of thread-locking adhesive is included. The included instructions also contain QR codes linking to installation videos. Front Counterweight Kit #16-058, sold separately, is recommended to help increase front steering stability.
Can I adjust the alignment without removing the tires?
Yes. The turnbuckle-style camber adjustment lets you adjust camber after installation without removing the tires. The turnbuckle and jam nut design also makes camber and toe adjustments easier during installation.
What makes the King XD design different?
The King XD uses kingpins in place of traditional Heim joints for a simpler, more durable design. It also features durable urethane bushings and an armor coating to protect the kit from the elements.
What components are included in this kit?
Kit #16-061 includes Front Lift Kit #16-055 in Box 1 and Solid/Fixed Rear Axle Lift Kit #16-057 in Box 2.
