Our Kicker 45KM84L 8" speakers might offer the best overall value among all 8" marine grade speakers. These speakers come with RGB LEDs built into the speaker and they come with both white and charcoal grilles, allowing you to select the color that looks best on your boat once you have them, not forcing you to decide beforehand. Kicker is one of the best names in marine audio and these speakers give you the sound quality you would expect but for significantly less than other comparable brands. These are rated at 150 watts RMS which basically allows you to put as much power to them as you want. With 92db sensitivity rating, they are efficient and will play loud. If you can fit the 8's, go with them over the 6.5's. They are bigger, they sound better, and you can't beat the price point for what you get in terms of sound quality, volume, and appearance.
